SANGIACOMO 5 CUS MACHINES CONVERSION KIT |

The
Japanese WAC Data Service technology has developed a new
revolutionary operativity and productivity for the 5 CUS
Sangiacomo socks machines.
This Conversion kit replace the
magnetic actuators, in which there are several problems:
- breakage of the actuator
tips,
- burning and overheating of
the bobinas
- high energy consumption
- damage to the electronic
boards due to no short-circuit protection
- all of the above will
cause loss of production.
The conversion
kit works with piezoelectric actuators made by WAC Data
Service, and are available for the Sangiacomo and Lonati
machines.
The advantage are:
- a low consumption of power
- they do not get warm
- short-circuit protected
- maintened very easily
- little mechanical wear
- less standing time of the
machine
- lower cost and spare
sparts available
- installation can be fitted
either to the Sangiacomo or Wac controller without
mechanical modification
- It is also possible to use
the conversion kit with a 4th color on Sangiacomo 5 CUS
Kit:a good investment because it has the same
characteristics without purchasing new machinery.

The kit is
composed by:
- 1 Power Supply WAC
48/24 V
- 1 Board WAC PDV-X
- 5 Piezoelectric
actuators WAC APS-X for 5 CUS and 6 CUS
- 5 Mounting for
each piezoelectric actuator
- 1 Eprom to
substitute on the CPU
- 1 set of 4
connecting and feeding cables

Installation
The kit should be
inserted on the electronic controller either WAC or
Sangiacomo electronic, without any mechanical
modification:
- replace the old
board, that commands the magnetic actuators, with
the new board,
- replace the old
groups and respective cables with new actuators and
new connection cables.
